Possum Holler
Budda has killed one possom & keeps it by her food dish. Haley has 2 dead possums in her pen. think the possoms would learn...
Catty The Catfish
has been with us for some time...he was spotted by Katie on Saturday in a definitely not lively pose. we were getting ready for Koren's reception, so Catty's Burial At Sea was postponed until Sunday when we all got up.
The tank is cleaned & ready for next occupant...
I always enjoyed Catty. Kate was very tired of every fish we put in to be Catty's roommate quickly expiring.

Itty Bitty Sasha Rose Dailey
on March 4 Katie adopted a year old miniature daschsund named Itty Bitty from a guy her mom works with. "weiner dogs" are German, bred to catch badgers & other hole dwelling animals. their big rib cage makes their bark especially loud. she has dapples, is very affectionate, loves her belly rubbed, licks everyone, is an excellent guard dog, not afraid of anything (including her new sister Ms. Cuddles), & burrows under covers to sleep. She likes to sit with people in chairs or on the couch. she especially loves her special friend Big Bird.

the *!@#$%! dogs
we couldn't keep the Pyrenees in, so Kevin stuck her back in with the Black Lab, they now have a much smaller pen & are co-existing very well. So now we have a pen for another pet...Katie thinks a pig, which we can't get until I quit PSF. I think the gray cat finally exited the garage...haven't heard any yowling lately.

dogs continued...
Buddese the Pyranese got out of the pen last nite, she crawled over the gate. I couldn't get her back in, Kevin put her in this am, made the gate taller. He went to his dads, came home in the afternoon, she had dug several impressive holes & was out again. He lured her back in with dog food, filled her holes, & now they're back to acting miserable & howling at each other. You just can't make some dogs happy, I guess. If she continues to get out, guess we'll put them back together & see how it goes. (she never attempted an escape when she was rooming with our grandma dog, Hayley the Black Lab, that Koren adopted when Kate was just starting to walk good.)
But, she didn't like Hayley eating. Maybe it's time for boarding school...
